We are up and running!
Thank you for all your e-mails and calls welcoming us back! Your kind words are most gratifying.
While we do not plan to re-introduce our line of kits, we will offer "short kits", which will include trucks, couplers, castings, plans and instructions for the kits we used to produce. The only wood included will be that required in some of the trucks. We also plan to expand the line of trucks, parts, and accessories.
One accessory of particular interest is a model of a small sawmill restored by the Cradle of Forestry Museum near Brevard, North Carolina. This is the Museum where the popular Ely-Thomas log cars (K13) are found. The model will include a Frick portable steam engine, the sawmill machinery as well as the structure . Each of these major components will be available separately.
We will strive to continuously improve our web site. Any suggestions you have to make it more user friendly will be greatly appreciated.
