Whether you are an individual hobbiest or a manufacturer, Hartford Large Scale Products, Inc. is pleased to offer custom casting services for your special needs. We can provide you with productions runs of multiple cast parts or "onsie-twosie" quantities.
You will need to provide us with brass patterns. If built up of sub parts, these should be soldered together -- preferably silver soldered. If you will require large (production) -- quantities -- the patterns should be 2% oversize.
For production quantities there will be a one-time mold making charge: $125 for 12" molds and $75 for 9" molds. If the mold wears out, we replace it at no charge to you. The recommended mold size will depend on the part size and number to be cast.
Please call or send us an e-mail and we will be glad to help you decide which mold option -- 12", 9" or none -- best suits you. Please provide us with a dimensioned sketch or picture in jpeg format to help us better understand your specific needs.
The mold will be the property of the customer and can be retrieved at any time for the cost of shipping.
